Casey Callendrello
Casey Callendrello is a technologist with an interest in networking, scalability, distributed computing, and security. He resides in Berlin, Germany.
Currently he is a Senior Staff engineer at Isovalent, newly acquired by Cisco. He is responsible, primarly, for the Network Policy team.
Previously he was a principal engineer at Red Hat, working on Kubernetes. He is also a maintainer of the CNI networking standard and plugin suite.
Even more previously, he worked at CoreOS (acquired by Red Hat), developing the rkt container runtime. He also was the backend architect at Weebly (since acquired by Square), where he designed serving, search, and data analysis infrastructure. Back when he was a wee lil’ programmer, he developed software for the Operations department at Akamai.
